These are some of the volunteers that make up our team:

Jesús Carnota

Jesus was born in A Coruña (Spain) in 1979. He has been working as an advertising creative executive and designer since 1998, when he started his BA in Advertising & PR in his home city. After completing his studies, he moved to Barcelona, where he worked as a creative executive and designer both as a freelance and on behalf of advertising agencies. Three years after, he returned to A Coruña, where he currently resides.
From the start of his professional career, he has done work for several advertising agencies and for large multinational and domestic firms such as Inditex, Schweppes, Caixanova or TVG.
He supports Seed for Change as a designer and advertising creative executive.

Natalia Verea

Of Galician origin, she resides in Valladolid (Spain). She graduated in Hispanic Stydies from the University of A Coruña and in Religious Sciences from the University of Navarra. Since her university years, she has actively participated in the planning for cultural and social work activities promoted by the University of A Coruña, the NGO Cooperación Internacional and Terral association. Currently she is in the teaching profession as a Spanish Language and Literature teacher in Alcazarén school, where she tries to transmit among her students cultural interest and promote their solidarity.

She supports Seeds for Change as a text editor and event planner in Valladolid.

Ana López

Ana was born in Lugo in 1975. She graduated in Political Sciences and is MA in Media Channels. Since 2000 she has been working as a journalist in different media, publishing houses and communication agencies. Through her work as a correspondent for Escuela magazine and her travels along Latinamerican countries, she entered in contact with various groups involved with education for development. This experience made her aware of the importance of education for the future of the most unprivileged.

She supports Seed for Change’s communication department.

Iris Tarrío

Originally from Narón (Spain), she currently resides in A Coruña. Her inclination for creativity led her to study Advertising and PR in Pontevedra and to her fondness of graphic design. After graduating, she worked in the advertising department of a publishing house in A Coruña which prints several local newspapers. In 2008 she completed her studies with a MA in Business and Institutional Comunication Management at Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona (UAB).

Aware of the vital role that communication plays for any organization, she decided to join Seed for Change to communicate and make people aware about the NGO’s work in Varanasi.

María Bodelón

Born in A Coruña (Spain) in 1977, she originally graduated as BA in English Studies. She lived 9 years in United Kingdom, where she studied a MBA and a MA in Computer Science, sponsored by the Caixa Galicia building society’s social fund. She worked in the Finance Department of multinational British American Tobacco for 5 years.

In 2008 she decided to turn her life around by enrolling in a MA in Poverty & Development at IDS (Institute of Development Studies, Brighton). Immediately afterwards she embarked on a solo travel throughout Middle East and Asia, at the end of which she founded and promoted Seed for Change’s educational project, in order to improve the future of unprivileged children in India.
